This is one thing I guarantee you politicians won't do, unless they hear from their constituents loudly. But taxing non-renewable carbon dioxide sources when they come out of the ground or are imported into this country is the surest way to cut CO2 fast. I'd like to see it used to get rid of most of our income tax. Imagine not having to file?
